The Music For Our Thriller

For a Psychological thriller opening, we need the music to go with it. I felt that I was responsible for putting together the music for our thriller because I'm also a music student and playing an instrument gives me an advantage.
I started to watch thriller movies and listen out for the music. All the films that I watched had background music that sunk in with the frilm. Sometimes you don't notice the music until you decide to listen out for it.
The music for the thriller needed to sound slow mysterious to have more of an effect on the audience. This method will keep the audience guessing. Alos, because the music for our thriller souinds orchestral and classical, I believe that the film will be for a more sophisticated audience and will broaden the age range for viewers. During the editing stage, we needed to use dynamics for our music, especially when our characters start to speak we needed to gradually drop the volume then slowly back up. We couldn't suddenly change the volume because the audience would notice, and sudden dynamics are not used in thriller movies, only graduall.
